My Automatic Gen2 has stopped communicating with my iPhone and has not communicated for about 7 days. I'm not sure how to reconnect, but it appears as if i need the serial number on the device to go through the reconnect process on the phone app. I can't get to that number unless i unplug it from my ODB connector. Will I lose data if i do that? or will the Automatic still do a data dump (of up to 8 hours of data) when I'm able to reconnect it?

Hi Marshall. No, you won't lose your data. Please make sure you've updated to the latest app and then go ahead and run through Setup again to reestablish the connection. You'll find "Replace / reconnect adapter" on the Setting screen.

Once you've done that, it will do the data dump over the next roughly 45 minutes of cumulative driving before you see new trips load in.

If that doesn't do the trick for reconnecting you, please let us know.
