This car was in an accident last night but no alert was raised. It doesn't even seem to have detected it. The airbags deployed. Any idea why not?

By its nature it's not an exact science. How severe the impact is and the type of accident can determine if it registers and it senses by "feel". It's not tied into your cars airbag sensors for example. And I've known airbags to deploy in very minor accidents and not deploy in bad accidents.

Hi Sean, it look like we reached out to you back in January to ask more details about what happened but never got a response. Please feel free to reply to that email or send another one to support@automatic.com if you need further assistance.

Hey Chris, so sorry to hear that! I'm going to export this to our helpdesk so we can better assist with finding out exactly why Crash Alert didn't activate when you expected it to. Of note, we can't detect airbag deployment so, unfortunately, that is not a factor in how Crash Alert determines if an accident occurred.
